Solvent cleaning is a versatile method for effectively removing contaminants in various industrial applications. This type of cleaning is based on the use of detergents containing organic compounds and is also known as cold cleaning. It enables fast and thorough removal of stubborn soiling, which optimizes production workflows and increases productivity. In addition, solvent-based cleaners are suitable for cleaning a wide range of materials such as metal, plastic, glass and ceramics.
Different processes are used for solvent-based cleaning, depending on the specific requirements and the type of soiling. A common method is the immersion method, in which the object to be cleaned is completely immersed in an immersion tank containing the cleaning liquid. This allows for thorough cleaning, as the solvent can reach all corners and hard-to-reach areas of the object. Another method is spray cleaning, in which the solvent-based cleaner is sprayed onto the soiled surface under high pressure. This enables targeted cleaning of specific areas or objects, especially when immersion cleaning is not practical.
The targeted use of solvent-based cleaners allows machines, equipment and components to be cleaned efficiently to ensure smooth production and optimum working conditions. One example is chemical tank cleaning and recycling of oil residues, where cleaning times can be significantly reduced compared to mechanical cleaning.
We offer KEBOCLEAN KB, a solvent-based metal cleaner that is used as an additive to kerosene, diesel fuel or heating oil. This removes oil residues from tanks and pipelines. It consists of aliphatic hydrocarbons, surfactants and organic corrosion inhibitors.

The products shown on our website are only a selection of our entire product range. There is no universal remedy for the rapid removal of impurities. Some can be removed well with alkaline agents, others better in the acidic range. The large variety of conceivable cleaning problems and the large number of additives, inhibitors and ready-to-use cleaning solutions offered by us make it advisable to obtain detailed advice before starting cleaning.
The same applies to inhibitors, defoamers, scale preventers, corrosion inhibitors, pickling inhibitors, etc. Depending on the plant, material, product and the type of boiler/cooling water is used, different individual challenges arise. We are well equipped for them.
